SUPERVISOR

Core Responsibilities

• Operations Oversight: Manage daily receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and dispatching.
• Staff Management: Assign daily tasks, set shift schedules, train workers, and evaluate performance.
• Inventory Control: Track stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Safety Enforcement: Ensure compliance with safety rules, operate machinery safely, and run safety meetings.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report operational metrics to management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required a degree in business, logistics, or management is preferred.
• Experience: Previous supervisory or management experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Skills: Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic computer software.
• Physical Ability: Capability to stand for long hours and lift heavy items when needed.
