Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of carpenters and workers
• Plan, assign, and monitor daily carpentry or furniture projects
• Ensure all work follows design drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Coordinate with contractors, designers, suppliers, and clients
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and material usage
• Inspect finished furniture and installations for quality control
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations
• Prepare reports (progress, materials, labor, costs)
• Train and guide workers to improve productivity and workmanship

Requirements

• Typically 3-5+ years of carpentry experience
• Strong knowledge of:

1. Furniture manufacturing / joinery
2. Wood materials, tools, and machinery
3. Reading technical drawings / blueprints

• Ability to estimate materials and labor costs
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards
• Ability to work on-site (factory or project site)
• Able to work long hours
