Job Summary
Lead and supervise plumbing teams to install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial systems. Coordinate daily tasks, ensure safety compliance, conduct inspections, manage inventory, and collaborate with contractors to deliver quality projects on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage workers on job sites to ensure efficient task execution and safety compliance
- Coordinate daily tasks and work schedules for technicians to optimize productivity and meet project deadlines
- Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications to maintain a safe work environment
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks on completed work to uphold standards and identify issues
- Order materials and manage inventory to support uninterrupted project progress
- Provide technical support and hands-on assistance to technicians when required to resolve complex issues
- Train and mentor technicians and apprentices to develop skills and improve team performance
- Maintain accurate job records and report progress to upper management for transparency and decision-making
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors to coordinate activities and ensure timely project completion
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on plumbing experience
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
