Job Description

Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of workers involved in cutting, shaping, forming, welding, assembling, and finishing metal products.
Plan and develop work schedules and procedures to meet production goals and deadlines, coordinating work with other departments such as design and engineering.
Set up and adjust machinery and equipment as needed, and ensure all equipment is well-maintained to minimize downtime.
Monitor production processes to ensure products conform to quality standards and technical specifications, blueprints, and job orders.
Resolve work problems, troubleshoot production issues, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, and identify training needs.
Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to employees, and recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, and disciplinary measures and requisition materials, supplies, and equipment parts, and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages.
