SUPERVISOR AND GENERAL FOREMAN (M&E)

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.

2. Plan, organize, and monitor daily work activities of supervisors, foremen, and workers to achieve project schedules and productivity targets.

3. Ensure all M&E installations are carried out in accordance with safety regulations, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

4. Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Main Contractors, Consultants, and other trades to resolve site issues and avoid clashes.

5. Conduct site inspections to check workmanship quality and rectify defects or non-compliance works.

6. Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and availability of tools, equipment, and materials for M&E works.

7. Monitor progress, prepare daily/weekly work reports, and update management on site status.

8. Enforce workplace safety, risk assessments, and toolbox meetings, ensuring all workers comply with safety procedures.

9. Guide, train, and motivate supervisors and workers to improve skill level and work efficiency.

10. Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems to ensure smooth project completion.

11. Coordinate inspections with relevant authorities and assist in obtaining approvals when required.

12. Resolve site manpower issues, material shortages, and technical problems promptly to minimize delays.

13. Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained at all times within the work areas.

14. Carry out any other duties assigned by management related to M&E site operations.
