Onsite supervision: Managing and coordinating the daily activities of pipefitters, welders, and other installation teams.
- Safety enforcement: Conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to enforce health, safety, and environment protocols.
- Quality control: Inspecting all work to ensure it meets technical specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Planning and scheduling: Preparing work plans, allocating manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Drawing interpretation: Reviewing and interpreting technical documents, such as piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and isometric drawings, and providing guidance to the crew.
- Coordination and communication: Liaising with project managers, other supervisors, and clients to resolve issues and ensure seamless project execution.
- Reporting and documentation: Preparing and submitting daily progress reports, managing as-built sketches, and overseeing documentation for quality assurance.
- Testing and commissioning: Supporting and overseeing the preparation and execution of system tests, such as hydrostatic and pneumatic tests.
