Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities for construction, interior renovation and fitting-out projects to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor site progress and ensure all works are completed according to project schedules, approved drawings, specifications and design requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Designers, subcontractors, suppliers and site workers on construction and fitting-out activities.
- Coordinate various trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, ceiling, flooring, painting, partition, glass and other construction or fitting-out works.
- Ensure proper sequencing of works and effective deployment of manpower, materials and equipment to minimize delays and rework.
- Ensure materials, finishes, fixtures and fittings delivered to site comply with approved specifications and project requirements.
- Assist in implementing quality control measures and ensure construction works meet the required standards.
- Report project progress, delays, technical issues and site constraints to the Project Manager.
- Carryout any other duties as assigned by management
- Attend site meetings, inspections and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other relevant parties when required.
- Minimum 1 years of relevant site supervision experience in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage site workers and subcontractors effectively.
- Good knowledge of construction processes, renovation works, fitting-out activities and site operations
- Willing to work a 6-day work week and attend to urgent site matters outside normal working hours when necessary.
