Job Summary
The Electrical professional leads the design, inspection, and installation of electrical systems, managing technical supervisors and project timelines while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards on diverse site conditions.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems and draft construction drawings aligned with project specifications to support accurate implementation
- Inspect electrical installations to verify adherence to design and equipment standards, ensuring quality and safety compliance
- Lead installation, testing, and repair of electrical and electronic wiring, appliances, equipment, fixtures, and apparatus to maintain operational integrity
- Utilize hand tools and test equipment to diagnose and resolve electrical issues effectively on-site
- Connect wires accurately to transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components to ensure system functionality
- Coordinate site resources and manage a team of technical supervisors to deliver electrical works according to regulatory and project requirements
- Track and report work progress to ensure project schedules and specifications are met, facilitating timely completion
- Arrange and implement all electrical works on-site, supervising installation activities to confirm alignment with approved shop drawings
- Attend site and coordination meetings to communicate project status and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain detailed records of all on-site electrical works to support project documentation and compliance
- Execute all tasks in strict accordance with safety procedures to uphold a safe working environment
Required competencies and certifications
- NTC in Electrical Services or equivalent certification as stated in the job requirements
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical construction project work as indicated in the job requirements
