Job Description
Solution Architect
Solution Architect · Consulting Track · 10+ Years · Full-time
A Solution Architect at RAC is the key pillar of the project — the one who connects every track, advises every Lead Consultant and the customer in the room, and holds the solution line when stakeholders push for the impossible. If you can manage the C-suite through unreasonable demands without damaging the relationship, keep architecture coherent across modules, integrations, and the customer's wider systems, and develop the Lead Consultants beneath you, this is your seat.
Track: Consulting
Level: Solution Architect
Experience: 10+ Years
ABOUT ROLLING ARRAYS
Rolling Arrays is a private equity-backed, award-winning HR Tech consulting firm — Asia Pacific's premium partner for enterprise HR digital transformation. Headquartered in Singapore and with offices across India, Malaysia, Australia, and Hong Kong, we have delivered more than 200 HR Transformation projects since our founding in 2009, and were recognised as one of Singapore's Top 100 fastest-growing companies in 2025. We specialise in SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, and Workday across the full delivery spectrum: HR process design and consulting (ALIGN), technology implementation (AUTOMATE), change management and adoption (ADOPT), and Application Management Services (AMS).
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Solution Architect to be the key pillar of the project — connecting the Lead Consultants across every track, advising everyone on the engagement (RAC and customer alike) on solution and architecture, and managing stakeholders through the difficult conversations. You are the solution advisor to every Lead Consultant in their track and to the customer in the room, and you hold the line when stakeholders push for solutions that are unreasonable, unscalable, or beyond what the platform should be asked to do. You also carry competency leadership accountability — developing the Lead Consultants beneath you and shaping RAC's solutioning capability. What we screen hardest for is genuine multi-module architecture experience, pre-sales / solutioning delivery, executive presence with CHROs and the C-suite, and the judgement to manage stakeholders through unreasonable solution demands. SuccessFactors multi-module architecture experience is preferred; exceptional architects from adjacent enterprise HRTech with genuine multi-module track records are welcome.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Connect every track on the project — align Lead Consultants across all tracks on cross-module design, integrations, and inter-module business-process linkage so the project delivers as one solution, not a set of stitched-together modules
- Advise the customer on solution and architecture — act as trusted advisor to CHROs, HR Directors, and the C-suite on HR technology adoption, process design, and architecture decisions
- Advise every Lead Consultant in their track — guide the Leads on solutioning decisions in their tracks; share judgement deliberately and uphold the architecture line across modules
- Manage stakeholders through unreasonable demands — recognise when a stakeholder is asking for something the platform shouldn't be made to do, and manage that conversation to a workable outcome without damaging the relationship
- Lead pre-sales and solutioning — lead customer demos, effort estimation, solution proposals, and RFP responses; represent RAC delivery capability credibly in the most senior conversations
- Govern delivery, scope, and risk at project level — oversee solution quality, scope, and architectural risk across all tracks, and resolve critical issues with senior stakeholders
- Develop the Lead Consultants beneath you — coach the Leads across tracks, share solutioning judgement deliberately, and shape practice capability
- Carry competency leadership accountability — lead practice capability building, define learning paths, and build the bench beneath you
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Project-level architecture ownership — has personally connected multiple HRIS tracks and their integrations across an engagement, not single-module deep work with adjacent-module awareness
- Trusted-advisor presence with customers — has acted as the solution advisor to CHROs, HR Directors, and C-suite stakeholders directly, not via intermediaries
- Stakeholder management under pressure — has held the solution line through unreasonable customer demands and reached workable outcomes without damaging the relationship
- Pre-sales and solutioning track record — has owned pre-sales activity, solution proposals, and RFP responses with measurable win and engagement-shaping outcomes
- Genuine competency leadership — has developed Lead Consultants and shaped practice capability deliberately, not informally
- 10+ years in HRTech consulting — with multi-module architecture and senior delivery leadership on the implementation-partner / SI side
- HRTech platform depth — proven SuccessFactors multi-module architecture preferred; exceptional architects from adjacent enterprise HRTech with genuine multi-module track records considered
- Commercial awareness — manages delivery margins, resourcing, and scope risk; understands the economics of complex multi-module engagements
- Executive communication and strategic thinking — outstanding clarity and judgement at C-suite level
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Real implementation-partner solutioning experience — what matters most is genuine SI-side multi-module solutioning and project-level architecture leadership, not in-house HR or HRIS architecture
- SAP SuccessFactors module certifications — valued and preferred given current pipeline weighting; Workday or Oracle HCM equivalents equally valued; certification alone never substitutes for a solutioning track record
- Bachelor's degree required — Master's or MBA preferred for executive client work
BUSINESS & CONSULTING SKILLS
- Project-level architecture authority — designs and owns solutions that scale across tracks, integrate end-to-end, and remain buildable under delivery pressure
- Executive client advisory — advises CHROs and C-suite stakeholders with clarity, authority, and credibility
- Stakeholder management through unreasonable demands — holds the solution line and steers conversations to workable outcomes without damaging the relationship
- Pre-sales solutioning — leads demos, estimation, and proposals that win engagements and de-risk delivery
- Competency leadership — develops Lead Consultants and builds practice capability deliberately
- Commercial judgement — manages delivery margins, scope risk, and engagement economics
