Job Description:

WeTuft is looking for enthusiastic and creative Studio Associates to join our team! As a Studio Associate, you will play a key role in providing an excellent customer experience by guiding clients through various art activities, assisting with rug-making processes, and maintaining a well-organized studio environment. Responsibilities:

1. Client Engagement & Instruction:

. Guide and teach clients the basics of tufting and other art-related activities.

. Provide hands-on assistance and troubleshooting during workshops.

. Ensure clients have a safe and enjoyable experience.

2. Studio Operations & Maintenance:

. Set up and clean up workstations before and after sessions.

. Maintain studio equipment, tools, and materials in good condition.

. Follow safety protocols and ensure cleanliness within the workspace.

3. Rug Processing & Finishing:

. Assist in applying backing, trimming, and finishing rugs.

. Ensure quality control for completed projects before handing them over to customers.

4. Sales & Customer Service:

. Greet and assist customers with bookings, inquiries, and purchases.

. Promote additional services, workshops, and merchandise.

. Handle cash and digital payments efficiently.

5. Other Duties:

. Support marketing efforts by capturing content for social media.

. Assist in inventory management, restocking supplies, and organizing materials.

. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

. Passion for arts, crafts, or DIY projects.

. Friendly, patient, and able to communicate effectively with clients of all skill levels.

. Ability to perform physical tasks such as handling tufting tools and processing rugs.

. Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

. Prior experience in tufting, arts, customer service, or teaching is a plus (training will be provided).

. Must be willing to work shift hours, including weekends and public holidays.
