Job Summary
You will manage a class of 10-18 primary school students, guiding their homework and activities, conducting educational and recreational programs, maintaining records, ensuring safety and discipline, and building strong relationships with parents and the community.
Responsibilities
- Manage a class of 10-18 primary school students to support their learning and development
- Apply knowledge of primary school curricular content in English, Mathematics, Science, and Chinese to guide students effectively
- Supervise and assist students with homework, spelling, and Centre activities to ensure completion and understanding
- Mark and correct students work to provide timely feedback on their progress
- Conduct evening English activities such as news sharing, discovery, and general knowledge sessions to enhance language skills
- Lead moral education activities to instill values and good habits in children
- Organize and facilitate art, craft, and outdoor activities to promote creativity and physical engagement
- Monitor and manage student behavior to maintain a safe and disciplined learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, activities, and individual progress for each child
- Plan and implement holiday programmes to provide continuous learning and enrichment
- Serve lunch and tea breaks while ensuring children's well-being and care
- Prepare daily lesson plans to engage children actively in learning
- Prepare and maintain teaching resources and the classroom environment to support effective learning
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders through regular communication
- Liaise with parents regarding their children's progress and Centre activities to foster collaboration
- Demonstrate a creative spirit and positive mindset as an inspiring role model for students
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues as a responsible team player
- Utilize computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to support administrative and teaching tasks
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties delegated by the Centre's manager
