Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide primary school students in their school homework, spelling and revision in at least three subjects (English/ Maths/ Science/Chinese)
- Provide a positive, nurturing, safe & secure learning environment for students
- Maintain order in the classroom and ensure students safety, welfare and security protocols are met at all times
- Plan and deliver activities for students (eg, art and craft, character building)
- Instil good habits and values in our children
- Maintain regular communication with parents on their children's development
- Provide support in dismissal duties
- Inform supervisor of any noteworthy incidents that occur while the students are under your supervision
- Perform other related duties as required
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Possess at least a good GCE O Levels, A Levels, Diploma or Degree
- Able to handle three to four subjects of Chinese, English, Math and Science at Primary School level would be an advantage
- Cheerful, patient and passionate when dealing with children
- Some relevant experience such as student care/ tutoring, certification in student care/ first aid would be advantageous
- Possess genuine care for children and desire to nurture them holistically
- Able to discipline students patiently and firmly
- Good communication skills in order to liaise with the parents and students
- Familiarity with the current school syllabus and experience in student care is an advantage
- Responsible and a good role model for the children.
- Certificate in WSQ Introduction to Student and Youth Care will have an added advantage
- Experience in student care preferred but not necessary
