- Job Title: Student Care Teacher (Full-Time / Part-Time)
Job Summary
You will supervise primary school students during after-school hours, ensuring their safety, well-being, and holistic development. You will mentor children and create a positive, structured environment for learning and play.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide students to complete daily school homework and spelling in English, Math, Science and Mother Tongue to support their academic progress
- Plan and lead engaging enrichment activities such as arts and crafts, character development, and indoor/outdoor games to promote student growth
- Maintain classroom discipline by enforcing rules and creating a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment
- Monitor students well-being throughout the day and communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and behavior
- Oversee meal times by ensuring students follow proper hygiene routines and eat safely
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum GCE O Levels
- Prior experience in student care, tutoring, or working with primary school-aged children
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and team members
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively to maintain order and support learning
- Patient, caring, and passionate about child development
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate well within a team
- Fluency in English proficiency in Mandarin is a plus to assist with Mother Tongue homework
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- School Holidays: 9:30AM - 7:00 PM (Additional Renumeration)
