A Program Facilitator is responsible for providing care, guidance, and supervision to students in a safe and supportive environment outside of school hours. The role focuses on fostering students social, emotional, and academic development while ensuring their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of students during centre operating hours.
- Guide and support students in completing daily homework and revision.
- Plan, organize, and conduct enrichment, recreational, and character-building activities.
- Manage students behaviour positively and maintain discipline in line with centre policies.
- Provide care and attention to students physical and emotional needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians on students progress and concerns.
- Assist in the daily operations of the centre, including meal distribution, attendance taking, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Support inclusion by catering to the diverse learning and behavioural needs of children.
- Uphold professional standards and ensure a nurturing and respectful environment.
Requirements:
- Passion for working with children and guiding their development.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a group of children with patience and care.
- Prior experience in student care, childcare, or education is an advantage.
