The Opportunity
Our client's Advisory Solutions team is expanding, and we need a seasoned Structured Products Specialist to drive forward the equity-linked and fixed income offerings. Core Duties:
- Take ownership of structuring, pricing, and executing equity-linked and fixed income structured products that match both client goals and where the market is heading.
- Act as the connector between relationship managers, sales, trading desks, and clients — surfacing opportunities and shaping investment strategies around them.
- Keep a pulse on market shifts to surface new investment angles worth bringing to clients.
- Put together the supporting materials that make deals happen: pitch decks, term sheets, payoff scenarios, and risk breakdowns for audiences inside and outside the firm.
- Stay involved across a product's entire journey — from initial monitoring through hedging through ongoing client support.
- Sharpen the team's pricing infrastructure by building and maintaining Excel-based tools, templates, and VBA-driven automation.
- Keep operations tight by following internal controls, regulatory rules, and governance protocols without exception.
- Loop in legal, compliance, ops, and risk colleagues regularly so products launch smoothly and risks stay managed.
- Handle the operational side of trading — margin checks, trade entry — for both Direct Access Clients and External Asset Managers.
What We're Looking For:
- 8–10 years in structured products, treasury advisory, capital markets, or related investment work — banking or institutional experience preferred.
- Comfort navigating pricing systems like Bloomberg and other market data sources.
- Strong command of equity-linked products, fixed income tools, and derivatives-based investments.
- FX dealing or FX structuring exposure will be a great plus.
- Fluent English is a must; Chinese literacy is a bonus for working with clients and markets across Greater China.
