Overview
A global commodities and energy group with an established international trading platform is expanding its structured finance capabilities to support growing activity in the Asia‑Pacific region. The firm is deeply involved in physical trading and logistics, working closely with banks, financiers and commercial stakeholders to deliver sophisticated financing solutions that underpin trading flows and asset-backed transactions.
Role
The role sits within the structured finance team, supporting the execution of structured trade, collateralised and shipping‑related financing transactions. You will be responsible for financial and cash flow modelling, collateral analysis, preparation of pitch materials and transaction documentation, and coordination with banks and internal stakeholders. This role offers exposure to live transactions and a broad view of structured commodity finance and corporate funding activities.
Requirements
The successful candidate has minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structured finance, trade finance, corporate finance, or investment banking, and holds a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. A solid understanding of commodities markets, asset‑backed financing and loan documentation is required. You are best described as detail‑oriented, analytical and comfortable managing multiple workstreams under tight deadlines, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin to support regional stakeholders. A proactive mindset and willingness to travel when necessary are expected.
