We are seeking a motivated Investment Analyst (100%) to join our Energy Transition team in Asia.
Key responsibilities
- Qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment opportunities in the energy transition domain across Southeast Asia
- Construction and maintenance of detailed financial models and cash flow valuations for renewable energy projects
- Support of due diligence work streams, transaction documentation and overall transaction execution for proposed investments
- Preparation of investment materials, internal memoranda and other transaction documents
- In-depth research in respect of relevant geographies, technologies and business models
- Contribute to business development and project development activities of the various projects under assessment
- Review of portfolio performances, valuation of platforms and analysis of results for stakeholders
Skills & experience
- Strong academic credentials in business / economics / engineering and mastery of relevant corporate finance (valuation, budgeting, accounting etc.) concepts
- 2 - 5 years of experience in project development, banking, corporate finance, M&A, private equity or consulting; experience in the renewable energy and energy transition industry is a plus
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to build complex financial models
- Excellent communication skills in English, additional fluency in an Asian language is a plus
- Highly structured, detail-oriented and motivated self-starter
- Constructive and collaborative approach, works well within teams and looks to identify optimal solutions for all stakeholders
