Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate design calculations for building façades using industry-standard design software.
- Read, interpret, and review architectural and structural drawings and specifications to ensure structural viability and compliance.
- Navigate and manage the authority submission process, ensuring all designs meet the stringent requirements of the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and other relevant regulatory bodies in Singapore.
- Resolve complex design and site issues effectively and efficiently, providing practical and safe structural solutions.
- Coordinate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Apply knowledge of precast and advanced construction methods to optimize structural designs for efficiency and constructability.
- Provide strong leadership and clear communication throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong and comprehensive understanding of Singapore building codes, BCA regulations, authority submission processes, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated familiarity and experience with precast and advancedconstruction methods.
- Proven proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Exceptional coordination, communication, and leadership skills to effectively manage project teams and stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and resolve design and site issues effectively.
- Hands-on experience and proficiency in preparing design calculations for building façades using specialized design software.
