Structural Engineer

Job Description & Requirements

• Perform structural design and analysis, loading and stresses calculation and drawings for ETFE
• Skylight, Tensile Membrane, Steel Structures
• Steel connection modelling, design and analysis using IDEA StatiCa
• Perform Finite Element Modelling and Analysis of Structure inclusive of linear, non-linear, PDelta, Mode Shape and Load Buckling
• Preparation of 3D structural models and Engineering shop and fabrication drawings including detailing etc.
• Preparation of As-built drawing and method statements for projects
• Perform environmental study using CFD under supervision of manager
• Utilize Rhino 3D and Grasshopper script for design and modelling including using C++ for scripting
• Work closely with architects, engineers, general contractors, fabricators and other professionals
• Involve in supervising projects and provide progress report
• Make sure projects meet authorities requirements

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors or Master's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Civil and Structural Engineering design
• Proficiency with steel 3D modelling, analysis & design software such as Rhino and grasshopper.
• Proficiency with programming language especially C++ , Python and Fortran
• Able to produce detailed layout drawings
• Experience in Tensile Membrane, ETFE Skylight and Steelwork design is an advantage
