Job Description

  • Assist the Project Manager in coordinating structural design and site details with Clients, Consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure accuracy, constructability, and consistency.

  • Develop and manage the structural works schedule in alignment with the Project Master Programme.

  • Coordinate, monitor, and control structural subcontractors progress, quality, and site activities to prevent clashes, delays, and abortive work.

  • Review, update, and coordinate structural drawings, including design drawings, shop drawings, BBS, and construction drawings.

  • Resolve site structural issues such as drawing discrepancies, RFIs, technical queries, method statements, and technical correspondences.

  • Use BIM or equivalent tools for structural coordination, clash detection, and constructability review.

  • Prepare, review, and manage submissions of structural shop drawings, materials, and method statements for Consultant and authority approval.

  • Supervise and inspect structural works (RC works, steel structures, foundations, and temporary works) to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and CONQUAS / Quality Mark standards.

  • Coordinate material requisition, work sequencing, cost control, and assist QS in verifying subcontractor progress claims and variations.

  • Maintain proper project documentation and support project handover, including As-Built drawings, test records, O&M manuals.

  • Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in structural engineering or site coordination within the Singapore construction industry.
  • Good knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and authority submission processes (BCA, URA, SCDF, NEA, LTA, etc.).
  • Familiar with CONQUAS / Quality Mark standards and ISO quality documentation.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and other project coordination software.
