Structural Coordinator (Condominium)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Structural Coordinator to join our Technical Team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring effective coordination of structural designs and drawings, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects.

Job Description

. Monitor consultants structural design progress in accordance with agreed submission and detailed design schedules.

. Review structural drawings to identify missing information, design clashes, and constructability issues.

. Lead and manage design coordination with Clients, Consultants, and Subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure the information between different disciplines are communicated and discussed among the team.

. Manage drawing coordination among subcontractors and across all disciplines.

. Maintain and track drawing submission schedules to ensure timely issuance for construction.

. Collaborate with BIM modeller/drafter on shop drawings preparation, to capture all detail dimensions and settings.

. Provide clear technical guidance to BIM modeller/drafter through sketches and instructions, and independently review technical drawings.

. Identify critical structural details and sections required for construction and technical resolution.

. Work closely with the construction team and subcontractors to prepare and submit for approval i) material submission, ii) material specification submission, iii) method statement iv) specialist trade sub-con shop drawings.

. Proactively resolve technical issues raised by construction and consultant teams through effective coordination, communication, and documentation.

Requirements

. Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline

. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

. Experience in residential project will be advantageous.

. Familiarity with BIM coordination and processes is preferred
