About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Structural/Civil Coordinator to support the planning, design, coordination, and execution of structural works for largescale construction projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, meticulous coordination, and the ability to work closely with consultants, authorities, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyse, and plan Civil & Structural engineering works in accordance with project requirements.
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, and manage all relevant Authority submissions.
- Ensure timely submission of plans, reports, and documentation to consultants and regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate and liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and other trades (e.g., M&E, architectural) to resolve technical issues and align project specifications.
- Support project coordination and oversee structural/civil works on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and standards.
- Attend technical meetings, coordination meetings, and site walks during the construction phase prepare meeting minutes when required.
- Monitor and maintain records for test reports, site tests, ST submissions, Green Mark requirements, and constructability compliance.
- Manage document control and ensure proper compilation of project documentation in accordance with the company's ISO standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Building, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Structural Coordinator in A1 Main Contractor environments, preferably with exposure to hospital or condominium projects.
