IFIS is seeking a Talent Transformation Project Manager to lead a portfolio of talent and capability initiatives. The role focuses on refreshing talent, building critical skills, and strengthening delivery capacity across Ops Tech.
This role bridges business, technology, and people agendas. It manages structured execution, operational readiness, and measurable outcomes for initiatives such as skills and capability frameworks, onboarding and mobility programs, role and operating model changes, learning pathways, and adoption of people related processes and tools.
The successful candidate will partner closely with Ops Tech leadership, engineering and operations managers, People and Culture teams, and external vendors. This role suits someone who understands technology environments and can translate talent strategy into executable delivery.

Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Program and Portfolio Delivery
. Lead delivery plans, milestones, scope, and outcomes for Ops Tech talent and capability initiatives.
. Manage a portfolio of people related initiatives aligned to Ops Tech strategy and priorities
. Run delivery governance including updates, decision tracking, and action follow ups
. Manage scope, dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple teams and initiatives
. Track delivery progress and budget position, and manage changes in priorities when needed
2. Talent and Capability Requirements Definition
. Work with stakeholders to define talent gaps, capability priorities, and future state needs
. Translate talent objectives into clear requirements and a delivery plan.
. Support definition of roles, skills, job families, and capability frameworks relevant to technology and
operations
. Align stakeholders on priorities, trade offs, and what successful talent refresh looks like
3. Operation Readiness and Service Improvement
. Ensure roles, team structures, or talent programs are operationally ready before rollout
. Coordinate handovers, ownership, and support structures with line managers and HR operations
. Ensure policies, role definitions, and process documentation are clear and usable.
. Support transition planning for new operating models or role changes
4. Adoption and Change Management
. Plan and manage rollouts so managers and teams can adopt new talent initiatives with minimal disruption
. Drive communications, enablement materials, and manager toolkits in partnership with People and
Culture
. Support training, onboarding, and transition activities linked to new roles or capabilities
. Collect feedback and drive continuous improvement after release
5. Stakeholder and Vendor Management
. Act as a single point of coordination across Ops Tech, People and Culture, and external partners
. Influence leaders and managers to align on talent decisions and delivery timelines
. Manage external vendors or consultants supporting talent, skills, or transformation initiatives
. Support procurement inputs, statements of work, and delivery acceptance
6. Risk, Control and Compliance
. Identify talent, delivery, and change risks early and drive mitigation actions
. Maintain risk and issue logs for talent initiatives
. Ensure initiatives comply with internal policies and governance expectations
. Support audit readiness through clear documentation and decision records
7. Reporting and Performance Tracking
. Define and track measures such as onboarding progress, capability uplift, role readiness, and adoption
. Provide regular updates to Ops Tech senior leadership on delivery status and outcomes
. Highlight bottlenecks and recommend actions to correct
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
. Bachelor's degree in Business, Banking and Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
. 4 to 8 years of experience delivering transformation, talent, or capability initiatives in technology or operations
environments
. Experience working with engineering, operations, or infrastructure teams is strongly preferred
. Proven experience managing multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and dependencies
. Experience in delivering AI use cases and AI tools
. Experience in talent planning, skills/capability frameworks, role design, job family mapping, or learning
pathway development
. Demonstrated experience driving adoption/change management, including communications, stakeholder
enablement, and rollout planning
. Comfortable operating in regulated environments with exposure to risk management, controls, audit
readiness, and decision documentation
. Experience managing vendors/consultants, including statements of work, delivery oversight, and acceptance
of outcomes
. Experience defining and tracking KPIs/metrics and preparing concise portfolio reporting for senior leadership
Skills and Competencies
. Strong project and program management fundamentals including scope, timeline, risk, and governance
. Ability to understand technology and operations contexts sufficiently to shape relevant talent solutions
. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
Clear and structured communication, especially with senior leaders and people managers
. Practical and outcome focused mindset, able to move between strategy and execution
. Experience supporting organisation wide change or operating model transitions
Strong documentation discipline with an audit and controls mindset
