We are currently seeking a Strategic Purchaser Merchandise and Promo Materials to join our HQ APAC office in Singapore.
Role Overview
Strategic Purchaser Merchandise and Promo Materials
- Ensuring a stable and cost-optimized supplier base
- Identifying potential for optimization and increasing supplier performance in terms of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)
- Sourcing and onboarding new suppliers and contract manufacturers
- Negotiating prices and terms, including preparing corresponding framework agreements
- Developing and implementing a procurement strategy for merchandise items
- Further development of the supplier evaluation system and active supplier management
- Commercial project responsibility in procurement for new product launches
- Responsibility to report to both Europe and APAC Headquarters
Your profile:
- Successfully completed commercial or technical training or studies with a focus on business administration/supply chain management
- 2-3 years of professional experience in (strategic) purchasing
- Used to working very independently and take advantage of creative freedom
- You have a hands-on mentality and pleasant personality
- A confident manner with a healthy dose of self-confidence, coupled with negotiating skills and assertiveness
- Very good communication and moderation skills
- Experience with MS Office proficiency with PowerPoint is essential
- Ability to travel if needed
