Responsibilities
- Formulate and drive digital economy strategies to keep pace with emerging technological developments, including Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Develop mid- to long-term strategic goals and objectives for the organisation's digitalisation and AI initiatives, and guide the translation of these strategies into actionable workplans.
- Lead cross-divisional reviews and analyses of greenfield opportunities within the digital economy, including the development of strategies, programmes, and implementation plans in new and emerging areas.
- Conduct research, analysis, and forecasting of trends within the infocomm and media landscape by synthesising insights from multiple data sources, including technological, market, and regulatory developments relevant to Singapore.
- Collaborate with internal divisions and government/public agencies on digital economy and technology-related matters, including performing economic, statistical, and policy analyses to support evidence-based decision-making and strategy formulation.
- Secure and manage strategic resources to support the effective implementation of key initiatives and programmes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in strategic planning or related functions.
- Prior experience within the public sector will be an added advantage.
- Experience in preparing and presenting proposals to senior stakeholders, including senior management and political office holders, is preferred.
