Job Description

The Senior Manager - Strategic Planning & Intelligence supports the CEO Office to coordinate tracking of 2X30 strategy execution and KPI progress in driving strategic growth, market & business intelligence and pipeline development across the APAC region. This role provides analytical depth and business insight to inform DHL Supply Chain's investment priorities, future growth scenarios, and regional strategic positioning.

Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, Strategy and ESG Lead, the incumbent will own key workstreams to support high-quality, data-driven decisions at the regional leadership level. Develop and drive mid- to long-term growth strategies for DSC APAC that are underpinned by actionable business plans across functions, countries, sectors, and products. Provide forward-looking strategic intelligence to enable fact-based decision-making and disciplined execution of regional priorities.

As we drive our 2X30 strategy forward we are looking for a profile that is strategically minded with strong analytical and business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to structure complex business challenges into actionable solutions. Demonstrates accountability, and the ability to influence across a matrixed regional environment.

Accountabilities

Strategy Development & Deployment

  • Develop mid- to long-term growth strategies for the region supported by robust business cases and implementation roadmaps.
  • Support the deployment of strategic themes in APAC, ensuring alignment across countries, sectors, and functional teams.
  • Drive structured strategic planning cycles including Mid-Term Planning (MTP) support and periodic strategic reviews.
  • Synthesize key outputs from projects and analyses to support regional strategy refinement.

Strategic Analysis & Business Intelligence

  • Perform strategic analysis of selected products, sectors, and businesses to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps.
  • Provide critical insights based on market trends, competitor movements, customer opportunities, and macroeconomic developments.
  • Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to support investment and prioritization decisions.
  • Maintain a structured regional intelligence and knowledge base to support fact-based discussions.

Strategic Project Governance & Tracking

  • Align, monitor, and track progress of strategic projects deployed across the region, ensuring milestones and desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, presentations and project specific communications for the CEO and APMB to provide transparency on impact and risks.
  • Support disciplined execution through clear governance frameworks and review mechanisms.

Regional & Global Alignment

  • Ensure alignment of regional strategic priorities with Global Strategy and divisional programs.
  • Support regional deals and initiatives from a strategic rationale, business case, and integration-readiness perspective.
  • Facilitate workshops and cross-functional forums to ensure consistent understanding and ownership of strategic priorities.
  • Manage cross-cultural stakeholder management

Requirements

  • Masters/postgraduate degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related field MBA highly desirable.
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in strategy, transformation, business development or management consulting.
  • Strong research and analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
