Strategic Planning Director/Manager
We are seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Strategic Planning Director/Manager to lead mid-to-long-term strategic initiatives in the AI domain
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Lead the company's 35 year mid-to-long-term strategic planning in AI, integrating industry trends, technological evolution, and competitive dynamics.
- Define clear strategic priorities and execution roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives.
- Translate top-level strategy into phased OKRs/KPIs and drive cross-functional alignment.
Commercial & Financial Analysis
- Partner with product and business teams to identify growth opportunities and diagnose core business challenges.
- Build financial and commercial evaluation models (market sizing, ROI, competitive barriers, investment feasibility).
- Assess the commercialization viability of AI initiatives and new product launches.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct deep analysis of global AI markets, including regulatory landscapes, user behavior, and competitive positioning.
- Evaluate overseas market entry strategies, risks, and expansion opportunities.
- Deliver structured competitive benchmarking and differentiation recommendations.
Technology & Industry Research
- Monitor cutting-edge AI developments (e.g., LLMs, AI infrastructure, AI chips).
- Evaluate emerging technologies for application potential and strategic relevance.
- Provide insights on technology selection, roadmap prioritization, and product iteration strategy.
Performance Tracking & Executive Reporting
- Produce regular strategy execution reports with data-driven insights.
- Support senior leadership decision-making through clear, structured presentations.
- Communicate complex strategic concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 510 years of experience in strategy, corporate planning, management consulting, investment analysis, or AI-related industries.
- Strong understanding of AI ecosystem trends (LLMs, AI infrastructure, commercialization models).
- Proven experience in financial modeling, market analysis, and strategic frameworks.
- Experience supporting global or overseas market expansion is highly preferred.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Background
- Experience in AI startups, tech companies, consulting firms (e.g., MBB/Tier-1), or corporate strategy roles.
- Exposure to AI product strategy or AI commercialization initiatives.
- Familiarity with international regulatory environments.
