Job Responsibilities
This position as a Strategic Commodity Manager is an individual contributor within the Supply Chain organization managing a particular commodity - Power Box. His/ Her core responsibilities include getting the Finished Goods delivered as per plan. Other responsibilities include organizing and controlling business/contracts/negotiations for strategic acquisition of materials and services of technical or contractual nature. He/She will be responsible for driving supplier contract management, conducting supplier negotiations, analytically formulating and executing comprehensive supplier management strategies based on semiconductor technology landscape and global business environment.
Other Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic commodity plan for the commodity (Power Box)
- Facilitate Global Supplier Agreement negotiations, renegotiations, and contract addendums
- Execute to continuous supplier improvement plans in relation to cost & operations delivery
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product/Manufacturing/Quality/Procurement & Finance) to resolve supply challenges
- Define and engage suppliers for NPI product
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related discipline with more than 7 years of working experience in a Supply Chain, Operations, or Production Planning environment (Preferably in Semiconductor industry)
- Strong technical knowledge of complex build-to-print integrated assemblies
- Strong communication skills to develop relationships (internal/external)
- Strong project management experience coupled with analytical/problem-solving skills
- Ability to priortize work & multiple-task in fast paced environment

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
