The Team:
Our APAC Sales organization is a lean, collaborative, and fast-paced team focused on unlocking the potential of high-value strategic assets within S&P Global Market Intelligence's Data & Research division across the region. As part of the commercial leadership team, this role is pivotal in driving new business and executing targeted strategies to accelerate growth for underperforming solutions, fostering a culture of innovation and client-centricity.
Responsibilities and Impact:
.Drive new business revenue and achieve annual targets for high-potential strategic assets across the APAC region, focusing on turnaround and growth initiatives.
.Diagnose market underperformance and develop comprehensive commercial strategies, including defining target client segments and compelling value propositions for strategic assets (e.g., With Intelligence, Big Dough, MMD).
.Build and implement market-specific sales playbooks, working in close partnership with Regional Sales Heads and local sales teams to execute strategies effectively in the field.
.Equip and enable regional sales teams through training, workshops, and ongoing coaching to confidently position and sell strategic assets, expanding impact and adoption.
.Surface critical market intelligence on product performance, competitive landscape, and client needs, translating insights into actionable feedback for product and business development teams.
.All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
. 8+ years of experience in a revenue generation role within financial data, technology, or analytical solutions, with a documented track record of meeting or exceeding new business revenue targets.
.Proven experience leading market development efforts, including entering new markets or launching products in territories where no established presence existed.
.Demonstrated success operating across multiple APAC markets, navigating developed financial centers and emerging economies.
.Proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales productivity tools.
.We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
.Domain expertise in private markets, investment banking, or the institutional investor ecosystem.
.Multilingual proficiency (Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean) supporting effective partnership with local teams and deeper traction in frontier markets.
.Collaborates effectively with colleagues to build trust and foster a sense of shared purpose, especially with regional sales teams.
.Communicates effectively, expressing complex strategic ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders and clients across the APAC region.
