Requirements
- GCE N / O Level or equivalent or relevant working experience
- Able to follow established procedures and guidelines accurately
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes
- Attention to detail and accountability in handling stock and documentation
- Ability to coordinate with internal staff and external vendors
- Basic IT literacy (e.g. Excel, inventory systems)
- Physically able to handle store operations where required
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years in storekeeping, logistics, administration or related roles
Responsibilities
- Manage and organise inventory, ensuring proper storage, labelling and stock control
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies
- Issue items based on approved requisitions and maintain accurate stock records
- Record all stock movements (receipts, issuance, transfers) in inventory logs
- Raise purchase requisitions and support procurement processes
- Receive, check and verify goods received against delivery orders and invoices
- Ensure proper documentation and filing for operational, audit and compliance purposes
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and security of the store
- Track expiry dates and ensure proper handling of perishable items
- Liaise with vendors and internal departments on inventory and delivery matters
- Assist in periodic stock takes and reconciliation exercises
- Support basic facilities coordination (e.g. minor repairs and servicing follow-up, contractor access)
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management
Work Location
The Welfare Home provides care for destitute persons, and the work location will be at Admiralty Street.
Acacia Home is a seven-storey facility with a capacity of 250 beds, catering to male destitute persons. The workplace is located at Admiralty Street.
