The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, leading the service team, and ensuring service excellence, food safety compliance, and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on role that requires close coordination with operational teams, suppliers, and customers in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and participate in daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow across all functions
- Lead, coach, and motivate the service team to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service
- Take full responsibility for staff deployment, scheduling, and manpower planning based on operational needs
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Handle customer service issues and feedback professionally to maintain a friendly, welcoming, and lively store environment
- Monitor store performance and work closely with management to achieve operational and service targets
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the caf, restaurant, or fast-food industry
- Strong people management and leadership skills, with a hands-on and solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for business operations
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and perform well under pressure
- Pleasant, mature, outgoing, and meticulous, with strong attention to detail
- Willing to work shift-based retail hours including weekends and public holidays
