The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall Store, Warehousing, Inventory Control, and Logistics operations to ensure efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and timely support to production and customer requirements. The role is accountable for optimising warehousing activities, driving operational efficiency, maintaining inventory integrity, and ensuring seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall Store, Warehousing, Inventory Control, and Logistics operations to ensure efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and timely support to production and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Store & Inventory Management

• Lead and manage the overall store, warehousing, inventory control, and logistics operations.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock control processes, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of inventory records and stock movements.
• Monitor inventory levels to support production requirements and prevent material shortages.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management and warehouse operations.

Logistics & Distribution

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics activities, including receiving, storage, shipment, and delivery of materials and finished goods.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective freight management and transportation arrangements.
• Implement measures to achieve cost savings in freight and logistics operations.
• Monitor logistics performance metrics and KPIs, including shipment accuracy and on-time delivery.

Operational Support

• Support production by ensuring timely availability and issuance of materials.
• Coordinate kitting activities and material movement to production lines and manufacturing sites.
• Ensure smooth logistics operations to support customer commitments and business objectives.
• Resolve operational issues relating to inventory, shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, logistics efficiency, and customer service.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and storage utilisation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate closely with: Sales & Marketing on customer deliveries and shipment requirements.
• Finance on inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and stock audits.
• Purchasing on incoming deliveries, receiving discrepancies, and supplier-related issues.
• Production Control on material planning, kitting, and shipment schedules.
• Production on material issuance and finished goods delivery.
• IQC on incoming inspection activities.
• Forwarders and Transport Providers on inbound and outbound logistics arrangements.
• PTST & CVN teams on logistics and store-related operational support.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in warehousing, inventory control, store operations, and logistics management, preferably in an EMS, manufacturing, or semiconductor environment.
• Experience leading warehouse, store, or logistics teams.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics processes.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in an EMS, manufacturing, or semiconductor environment.
