Job Title: Storekeeper
Role Overview
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the warehouse and ensuring smooth handling of incoming and outgoing goods. This role supports daily operations by maintaining accurate stock records, organizing inventory, preparing orders for dispatch, and assisting with deliveries when required.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving Goods
Receive incoming stock from suppliers.
Check quantity and condition against delivery orders or invoices.
Report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
Inventory Management
Organize and store products properly in the warehouse.
Maintain accurate stock records in the system.
Conduct regular stock counts and assist in stock audits.
Order Preparation
Pick and pack items according to sales orders.
Ensure correct products and quantities are prepared for delivery.
Label and stage goods for dispatch.
Delivery Support
Assist the driver with loading and unloading goods.
Accompany the driver for deliveries when required.
Ensure items delivered match the delivery order.
Warehouse Organization
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Arrange stock for easy identification and access.
Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
Documentation
Update receiving, stock movement, and delivery records.
File and maintain warehouse documents properly.
Requirements
Basic warehouse or storekeeping experience preferred.
Able to handle physical work and lift goods when required.
Basic computer skills for inventory systems.
Responsible, organized, and attentive to details.
Team player with good work attitude.
Work Environment
Based in warehouse or store facility.
May involve handling cookware cartons and household products. Carton box weight below 15kg.
May occasionally assist with delivery duties outside the warehouse.
5 days work week
Working Hours: 8am- 5pm
