Job Description

What are we looking for

As a Store Development Executive, he/she is responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing store design initiatives that align with brand identity, operational efficiency, and customer experience goals. He/She is also responsible in leading and executing store renovation projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and alignment with brand standards and sustainability goals.

Design Development:
- Responsible for preparing the design development of store layouts and floorplans options for new stores and refits
- Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and technical drawings for stakeholder approval
- Support in any ad-hoc projects on fixture designs to further improve in customer experience journey
- Ensure compliance with corporate design standards and local regulations

Project Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee end-to-end store renovation projects from concept to completion
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors, contractors, and consultants
- Perform site survey and ensure accurate site measurements for new/refit stores
- Attend fit-out briefing conducted by Landlord to understand building guidelines and requirements

Vendor management & Site Coordination:
- Manage vendor coordination and oversee implementation timelines for design rollouts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with commercial objectives
- Conduct regular site visits and lead weekly site meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

Sustainability Integration:
- Collaborate with the Sustainability Committee to incorporate eco-friendly practices and materials into renovation projects

Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, progress reports, and tender evaluations
- Capex monitoring and apply cost saving measures throughout the project & Purchase Order preparation
- Provide weekly updates to stakeholders and management
We Are Excited About You If You Have:

  • Diploma in Design and Building Management or Architecture with at least 3 years experience in FMCG or retail environment
  • Knowledge of building guidelines & requirements and project budgeting & scheduling, and proven experience in retail renovation or construction project management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
