Store Assistant (Balloons and Gifting)

Misty Daydream is looking for a hands-on and responsible Store Assistant (Balloons & Gifting) to join our operations team.

This role focuses mainly on the preparation and production of helium balloons, balloon bouquets and customised gifting orders. You will also support daily store operations, order fulfilment, packing, quality checking and inventory management.

No prior balloon experience is required as training will be provided. We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is willing to learn and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Inflate and prepare helium and air-filled balloons according to customer orders.

* Prepare balloon bouquets, bubble/Bobo balloons, foil balloons, number balloons and other balloon arrangements.

* Ensure balloons are properly inflated, secured and prepared for safe delivery.

* Perform quality checks for balloon condition, inflation, colour, personalisation and overall presentation before dispatch.

* Organise completed orders according to collection and delivery schedules.

* Coordinate with the operations and delivery team to ensure orders are ready on time.

* Receive, organise and replenish balloon, gifting and packaging inventory.

* Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items promptly.

* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production and working areas.

* Perform other store and operational duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

* 5 Days work week. (Tuesday to Saturday, 9 to 6pm)

* Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.

* Comfortable with hands-on and repetitive production work.

* Able to work efficiently while maintaining good attention to detail.

* Able to follow SOPs and instructions carefully.

* Good teamwork and communication skills.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, especially during festive and peak periods.

* Able to stand for extended periods and handle light-to-moderate lifting.

* Experience in balloons, floristry, gifting, retail operations, packing or fulfilment is an advantage but not required.
