Key Responsibilities

Storage Administration & Optimization

• Design, configure, implement, and support enterprise SAN/NAS solutions across multi-vendor platforms (Hitachi VSP series, HPE XP8/XP7/Primera, Dell EMC Isilon, NetApp, Pure Storage, VMAX, VPLEX, VNX).
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex storage issues in production and DR environments.
• Lead firmware/microcode upgrades, tech refresh projects, and large-scale storage migrations with minimal downtime.
• Implement and manage replication, snapshots, and business continuity solutions for high-availability environments.
• Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring using enterprise storage management tools.

SAN Fabric & Connectivity

Architect, configure, and administer Brocade SAN fabrics, including advanced zoning, fabric merging, and troubleshooting.

Ensure optimal SAN connectivity and fabric health across data centers in multi-site environments.

Incident, Problem & Change Management

Lead resolution of high-severity incidents (Sev 1/Sev 2) and coordinate with vendors for escalations.

Conduct detailed post-incident reviews and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

Manage changes in line with ITIL processes, ensuring risk assessment, documentation, and rollback planning.

Compliance, Documentation & Governance

Maintain accurate storage asset inventory, configuration baselines, and topology diagrams.

Ensure adherence to FSI regulatory requirements, security policies, and audit compliance.
