STEEL SURVEYOR

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and take precise measurements of steel structures and components
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Ensure all steel works are installed according to approved drawings and tolerances
• Perform dimensional checks on fabricated and installed steel structures
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams
• Identify discrepancies and report deviations from design specifications
• Maintain accurate survey records, reports, and documentation
• Use surveying instruments such as total stations, laser levels, and measuring tools
• Assist in setting out positions for steel installation on-site
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience in steel structure surveying or construction
• Knowledge of steel fabrication and erection processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Proficient in software such as AutoCAD is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
