Our client is a leading industrial equipment and manufacturing organisation with a strong regional footprint and they are seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing management reporting, analysis, and SGX‑related compliance activities while managing a lean, high‑performing finance team.
- Lead the management reportingprocess, including analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financialperformance across multiple business units.
- Prepare Board papers, financialpresentations, and insights for senior leadership discussions.
- Oversee SGX reportingrequirements, ensuring compliance with listing rules and timely submissions.Manage the preparation of annual reports and statutory filings.
- Perform in‑depth analysis ofresults across different BUs and provide strategic recommendations.
- Ensure high‑quality consolidationprocesses and accurate reporting of group financials. Supervise and mentor alean finance team, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
- Partner closely with regionalfinance teams across Singapore, Malaysia, China, and Japan to ensure alignmentand consistency in reporting standards.
- Drive continuous improvement infinancial processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies.
Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accounting/Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA), SCTP, ACCA, or equivalent qualification in taxation/accountancy with the following relevant experience:
- Prior Big 4 audit experience is essential with strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in supporting group management reporting, annual budgets as well as board presentations.
- Prior experience working in a mainboard‑listed environment, with proficiency in SGX reporting standards and requirements.
- Exposure to a manufacturing or inventory‑based environment is preferred but not a must.
- Proven regional exposure across markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, China, and Japan.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels, including regional finance teams and senior management.
- Detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to balance operational and strategic responsibilities.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing a lean team.
