Our client is a market-leading FMCG/retail brand and they are seeking a commercially savvy Senior Financial Analyst to drive insights and partnering with their business leaders across the region.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the consolidation and analysis of monthly financial results, providing clear insights and commentary to senior leadership.
- Investigating key variances by collaborating with local finance teams and delivering actionable recommendations.
- Monitoring performance metrics, identifying deviations from budget, and ensuring timely follow-up on corrective actions.
- Driving consistency in reporting by standardizing templates, processes, and commentary across the region.
- Enhancing forecasting accuracy through the development of centralized planning tools and rolling forecast models.
- Supporting the design of a regional FP&A operating model and contributing to finance transformation initiatives.
- Managing cross-functional finance projects and strengthening financial governance through the establishment of a controllership framework.
- Acting as the main point of contact between regional and global finance teams, ensuring timely responses to ad hoc requests.
- Utilizing tools such as Hyperion HFM to support reporting and troubleshooting across country teams.
Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:
- CPA, ISCA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in FMCG, retail, or B2C industries.
- Proven regional FP&A exposure, ideally across Southeast Asia and Oceania.
- Strong track record of business partnering with commercial leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and compelling way.
- Proficiency in financial systems such as Hyperion HFM and advanced Excel skills.
