Role DescriptionA Startup / Venture Analyst evaluates startup companies, investment opportunities, and market trends to support venture capital firms, investment funds, or corporate innovation teams. They conduct research, financial analysis, and due diligence to help investors make informed funding decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Research and analyze startup ecosystems, industries, and emerging technologies.
- Evaluate startup business models, products, and growth potential.
- Conduct financial analysis, market sizing, and competitive analysis.
- Assist in due diligence for venture capital investments or acquisitions.
- Prepare investment memos, reports, and presentations for partners or investors.
- Monitor portfolio companies and track performance metrics.
- Attend startup events, pitch sessions, and networking opportunities.
- Support venture partners in identifying and sourcing new investment opportunities.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or startups preferred.
- Strong understanding of startup ecosystems and venture funding stages.
