Job Summary
You will assist in food packing and takeaway orders, serve customers, handle cashier duties, support kitchen preparation, maintain stall cleanliness, and ensure food safety standards are met in a fast-paced food stall environment.
Responsibilities
- Pack food and prepare takeaway orders accurately to meet customer requirements
- Serve customers promptly and handle basic cashier transactions efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the stall and serving area to ensure a hygienic environment
- Support the kitchen team by performing simple food preparation tasks as needed
- Refill food items and arrange displays to maintain an appealing presentation
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards consistently during all tasks
- Communicate effectively in English or Tamil to assist customers and team members
- Stand for extended periods during shifts to support continuous stall operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in food service or related roles
- Demonstrate a friendly and customer-oriented attitude to enhance customer satisfaction
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment to maintain service quality
- Basic communication skills in English and Malay preferred for customer interaction
- Physical ability to stand for long hours during work shifts
