Role Description The Staff Quality Engineer, Customer Quality is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This role focuses on managing and improving product quality performance for key customers, including handling customer quality issues, coordinating root cause analyses, and driving corrective and preventive actions. The engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams such as design, manufacturing, test, and applications engineering to ensure robust quality standards and effective communication of quality status. Typical responsibilities include monitoring customer returns and complaints, preparing quality reports and metrics, supporting audits and customer visits, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves establishing best practices in customer quality management, aligning internal processes with customer requirements, and supporting global quality programs.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Engineering and Quality Management, including experience with quality systems, methodologies, and continuous improvement.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, with the ability to implement and monitor processes that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Candidates should possess experience in Product Quality, including managing customer complaints, failure analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with industry standards and tools (e.g., ISO quality systems, FMEA, 8D, SPC) and data-driven problem-solving.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Semiconductor, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing, especially in customer-facing quality roles, is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to operate independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
