The Challenges
You will join a team of professionals in the clinic to provide high standards of patient care by performing clinical nursing procedures that will meet the patients immediate physical and emotional needs. You will provide patient education to the patients and their caregivers based on patients needs.
Job Descriptions
- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates clinical care for patients under his/her care.
- Performs clinic generic nursing duties like phlebotomy, injection and assisting in clinic procedures.
- Conducts pre and post procedure information, admission and discharge planning.
- Collaborates ad co-operates with the physicians and other health care personnel, for a smooth delivery of patient care.
- Conducts diabetic eye and foot screening, escalation at risk cases to the Podiatrist based on protocol and in consultation with physicians.
- Provide nurse counselling, monitoring and patient education on chronic disease management and health promotion.
- Any other duties as delegated by the department reporting officer.
Job Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Nursing or equivalent with at least2 years of Clinical nursing experience.
- Registered with Singapore Nursing Board.
- Self motivated and able to work well in a team.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.
- Able to work in a dynamic environment as well as being flexible and open to changes.
