Staff Nurse (Renal Dialysis)
Responsibilities
- Participate in the assessment, implementation and evaluation of quality dialysis outcome.
- Perform Hemodialysis cannulation and treatment for patients according to the standards practice and guideline.
- Practise proper infection control procedures based on current infection control guidelines.
- Guide and direct the enrolled nurse level and below, to ensure that quality nursing care is rendered to patient at all times.
- Record informative, accurate and concise statement on the Hemodialysis treatment, blood results and Parameters.
- Administer intravenous antibiotics, IV Erythropoietin and Blood Transfusion during Hemodialysis treatment with standard of practice.
- Collect water sampling for water culture to maintain safe water standard guideline.
- Work closely together with respective hospital for blood investigation and follow up.
- Work closely with Dietician and educate patient on nutritional status and fluid compliance.
- Take appropriate nursing actions in emergency situations that compromise patient safety.
Requirements
- Diploma in Nursing recognized by Singapore Nursing Board.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in dialysis center.
- Valid registration with Singapore Nursing Board.
- 6-day work week (including weekends and Public Holidays).
