Staff Nurse

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care within a hemodialysis clinical setting. Educate patients on diet, fluid management, medications, and blood pressure control to optimize clinical outcomes. Undertake clinical assessments pre, during, and post-dialysis to evaluate the effectiveness of care. Monitor the water treatment system and fluid for dialysis to ensure the provision of safe and quality dialysis therapies. Establish and maintain effective communication with patients and their relatives, providing adequate support. Ensure a safe and secure working environment for staff, patients, and visitors as outlined in the IPC and environment policies. Maintain accurate patient information in medical records, adhering to confidentiality and Privacy Policy. Actively participate in quality improvement processes by reporting incidents, hazards, and opportunities for improvement. Review blood test results and report any abnormalities to the Medical Director. Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and in good working condition report defects through appropriate channels.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing. Registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB). Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in Singapore. Advanced training in hemodialysis is a plus renal nursing experience is required. Certified and valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
