Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dedicated team in providing exceptional care and support to residents in a skilled nursing environment. This role emphasizes patient welfare, interdisciplinary collaboration, and quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care and ensure service excellence for residents at all times. Develop, assess, and adjust care plans based on residents physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. Conduct regular rounds with staff to monitor health indicators and ensure proper medical conditions for residents. Supervise nursing aides and healthcare aides, ensuring compliance with caregiving procedures and standards. Administer first aid and emergency health measures, including wound care and CPR. Implement stringent infection control practices to prevent transmission of diseases. Assist with personal care activities, including hygiene, feeding, and mobility support. Communicate effectively with families, providing counsel and addressing inquiries or complaints. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and social workers for assessments and interventions. Prepare and manage medical documentation, medication administration records, and health reports. Maintain proper inventory of medications and ensure safe storage practices. Prepare duty rosters and documentation to ensure adequate staffing at all times. Promote a clean and safe environment while conducting quality assurance checks on equipment. Assist in organizing events and fostering volunteer engagement.

Requirements

  • Recognized university degree, certification, or diploma in Nursing must be a State Registered Nurse. 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting experience with elderly or disabled persons preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop care plans. Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead and direct staff effectively. Proficient in verbal and written communication. Basic computer skills. Self-motivated with good problem-solving capabilities and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
