Job Description

Metta Hospice Care provides free home-based palliative care to terminally ill patients across Singapore. We are looking for compassionate and experienced Staff Nurses to deliver holistic nursing care, symptom management and emotional support to patients and their families in their homes.

You will be responsible for conducting home visits, assessing patients conditions, administering medications, developing and reviewing care plans, educating caregivers, coordinating with doctors and community services, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits and perform palliative nursing assessments

• Develop and review individualised care plans

• Administer medications and manage symptoms

• Support and educate caregivers

• Coordinate referrals to inpatient hospices and community services

• Provide emotional and bereavement support

• Maintain proper clinical documentation

• Support outreach and fundraising activities when required

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (community or hospice preferred)

• Comfortable with independent home visits

• Compassionate, professional and emotionally resilient

• Palliative care certification is an advantage
