The Job
Clinical Duties:
- Perform venepuncture (blood taking) and administer vaccinations competently
- Conduct patient triage and assist during emergencies
- Deliver high-quality nursing care tailored to patients needs
- Assist doctors with clinical and medical procedures
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols in patient care
- Act as a chaperone and support doctors during clinical procedures
Service Orientation and Teamwork:
- Provide a high standard of professional and patient-centric service
- Proactively identify and respond to patients needs, contributing to a culture of service excellence
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support the medical centre's overall performance
Equipment, Supplies and Maintenance:
- Maintain inventory of medical equipment and ensure proper upkeep
- Report equipment malfunctions or property damage promptly to the Centre / Mobile Medical Services Manager
- Ensure adequate stock of stationery and medical consumables at all times
Administrative Duties:
- Perform basic administrative tasks with good computer proficiency
- Conduct stock tallying and reconciliation of medications and vaccines at the end of each event day
Others:
- Attend training sessions as assigned by Centre/ Mobile Medical Services Manager
- Be flexible to support operations at other medical centres, including Community Health Days and Mobile Medical Services (MMS) events
The Person
- Minimum Diploma in Nursing
- Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
- Strong customer service orientation
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of integrity, with strong attention to detail and adherence to protocols
- Adaptable and comfortable with changing schedules and deployment across different locations
