Staff Engineer (IC Design)

Job Purpose
To contribute to the successful implementation of graphics controllers SoC within a dynamic team of designers

Job Scope
. Responsible for the development of IP modules and SOC assembly in Verilog RTL, maintaining the highest level of quality for the deliveries

. Define and implement Design For Test (DFT) requirements

. Generate and simulate ATPG patterns

. Provide technical assistance to team members and mentor junior engineers

. Drive and contribute to the continuous improvement of front-end flow and methodology

Additional Responsibilities
. Any reasonable task assigned by management and deemed to be within the individuals capabilities to ensure smooth running of the business.

. As this is an evolving business, ongoing change is an integral part of the position. Management will liaise with the individual on any fundamental change to work practices. The individual is required to embrace and adopt any change to working practices.

Knowledge and skill requirements
. Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
. 12+ years of experience in digital IC design
. Proficient in using industry-standard EDA tools (Synopsys, Cadence)
. Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration
. Excellent analytical skills for identifying and resolving design issues
. Working experience from design to tape-out is essential
. Knowledge and working experience with graphics processor and microcontroller products is a plus
