Job Description

Bukit Timah Saddle Club is hiring Stable Grooms to help care for horses and keep the stables clean. This job is suitable for people who love animals and are willing to learn.
No experience needed. Training will be provided.

As a Stable Groom, you will be responsible for the daily care, health, and welfare of the horses and ponies at our facility, and the maintenance of the stable yard and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sweep stable yards, floors, and walls
• Feed, hay, and give water to horses
• Clean water buckets
• Keep hay room, feed room, tack room, wash bays, and work areas clean and tidy
• Return tools, brushes, saddles, and bridles to the correct rooms
• Ensure gates and doors are closed and secured
• Store bins, hoses, and equipment properly
• Help with cleaning drains, fans, and other stable areas when required
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor

Job Requirements

• Willing to learn
• Demonstrate ability to work responsibly and able to work on a rostered schedule
• Able to work outdoors and do physical work
• Able to work well as part of a team
